NinjaOne seeks a Technical Trainer to deliver live, instructor-led training (ILT) to onboard customers and partners onto the NinjaOne platform, via remote/virtual and in-person onsite sessions. This is a delivery-focused role that runs live enablement sessions, facilitates virtual labs, and helps learners reach certification while updating materials to reflect product changes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years delivering instructor-led technical training, including live virtual/online and in-person onsite delivery to adult learners.
• Able to facilitate a live virtual classroom with hands-on virtual labs and practical exercises.
• Strong written and verbal communication, with ability to adapt delivery to the audience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging live, in-person and remote/virtual instructor-led trainings for external customers and partners.
• Repurpose existing modules into ILT formats, short-form video, and in-product overlays to support diverse needs.
• Facilitate the virtual classroom, manage pacing, screen shares, polls, Q&A, and breakout activities.
• Explain technical concepts clearly to mixed experience levels and guide learners toward NinjaOne certification.
• Assess learner needs and training effectiveness, and apply improvements as needed.
• Keep course content up-to-date with NinjaOne product updates in collaboration with content owners.

This is a delivery-focused, learner-facing role. You will run live enablement sessions, keeping participants engaged, answering real product questions, helping learners reacha level of understanding that will accelerate formalcertification, andfacilitating“virtuallabs”that enablelearnerstoget real-world,hands-on experience,in a safe and non-destructiveenvironment.Youwill also partner with our content subject matter experts and owners tomaintainand update the materialin line with product updatesas the platformevolves.

Location -

We are flexible on remote working from home, if you are located in the USA and reside in one of the following states - CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, *IL, KS, ME, MA, NJ, NC, NY, OR, TN, TX, VA, & WA.

Preference will be given to candidates who reside in Austin, TX or Tampa, FL or those who are willing to relocate without assistance.

Travel Requirement:

~40%, including onsite customer training, industry events, and team collaboration.

What You’ll Be Doing

• FacilitatetheNinjaOnetrainingcurriculum,such asourCertified Techniciancourse,a multi-module program that covers the breadth of theNinjaOneplatform.You willbe a part of the team that ensures thecurriculum and thecontentcontinuously evolvesin line with product updates.
• Repurpose existing web-based training modules into an instructor-led format, short-form video, and in-product overlay formats to support diverse learner and delivery needs.
• Deliver engaging live,in-person andremote/virtual instructor-led trainingsessionsto external customers andpartners,applying a variety of instructionaltechniques (explanation,demonstration, guided practice, discussion, exercisesetc).
• Facilitate the virtual classroom: manage pacing, screen shares, polls, Q&A, and breakout activities, and keep remote participantsengaged,active and on track.
• Explain technical concepts clearly to audiences with mixed experiencelevels andadapt your delivery to the room.
• Guide learners through hands-on practicewiththe platform and support them toward earningformal NinjaOne certification.
• Assess learner needs andreadiness thenevaluate training effectiveness; recommend and apply improvementsasappropriate.
• Partner with content owners and product teams to keep coursecontent, guides, and materialsaccurateand aligned withNinjaOneproduct updates.
• Maintain deep, current product knowledgeofthe NinjaOne platform.
• Track and report on session delivery, attendance, and certification outcomes
• Other duties as needed.

About You

• 3+ yearsdelivering instructor-led technical training,including live virtual/onlineas well as in-person onsitedeliveryto adult learners.
• Demonstrated ability tofacilitateand hold attention in a livevirtual classroomsetting that includes a hands-on virtual labs environment,notjustpresentation.
• Strong verbal communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, with clear speech and confident delivery.
• Ability to select instructional methods appropriate to the audience and to teach/instruct others effectively.
• Skill in assessing learner needs and evaluating whether training achieved its goals.
• Proficiencywithvirtual classroom/webinartooling; comfort with a learning management system (LMS) and presentation software.
• Foundational IT knowledge relevant to endpoint management/RMM, sufficient to teach the platform credibly and answer practitioner questions– direct experience with NinjaOne a definite plus.
• Strong written communication for producing and refining handouts, guides, and course materials.
• Based in the United States with authorization to work in the US.
• A reliable remote work setup: stable high-speed internet, a quiet space, and a working webcam and microphone.
• Availability to teach duringUS business hoursacross all time zones.
• Hands-on experience withNinjaOneor comparable RMM / endpoint management / MDM / PSA tools.
• Background as an MSP technician, IT administrator, sysadmin, or helpdesk professional (audience empathy).
• Formal training/instructional credential such as CompTIA CTT+, ATD (APTD/CPTD), or Microsoft Certified Trainer.
• Familiarity with instructional design and adult-learning principles.
• Experience trainingexternalcustomers and/or partners at a SaaS or technology company.

Technical Requirements

• Proficiencyin Windows environments (registry, services, performance troubleshooting).
• Familiarity with Linux/macOS systems and basic command-line troubleshooting.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts, including DNS, VPNs, firewalls, and endpoint protections.
• NinjaOne Certified Techniciancertification, or willingness to earn it within 21 days of hire.
• Scripting experience in PowerShell,Bashand/or Batch.
• Comfortable navigating complex IT ecosystems and integrating with existing infrastructure.

Education

• Bachelor's degree,or equivalent practical experience.

Additional Information

• Due to operational policies, NinjaOne is unable to hire for this role within the city limits of Chicago. We will consider all qualified candidates who reside outside of the city proper or are willing to self-relocate.

Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to location, market demands, experience, job-related knowledge, and skills. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage and PTO.

For roles based in California, Colorado, Maryland, New Jersey or Washington the base salary hiring range for this position is $150,000 to $150,000 per year.

For roles based in New York, the base salary hiring range for this position is $150,000 to $150,000 per year.
