Job summary

Firefly Aerospace is seeking a Technical Trainer to design and deliver a comprehensive training program for manufacturing and composites. You will build onboarding paths, craft scalable curricula, and work with technicians, engineers, and Quality to ensure rapid ramp‑up and ongoing competency.

The role requires strong instructional design, experience in aerospace or high‑rigor environments, and the ability to leverage LMS and other content tools to drive measurable improvements in productivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent hands‑on manufacturing experience.
• 3+ years in manufacturing, aerospace, or production engineering environment.
• Ability to translate complex processes into clear, teachable steps.
• Experience teaching or training technicians or engineers.
• Capable of cultivating onboarding and ramp‑up programs.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate instructor‑led training across classroom and hands‑on formats.
• Teach employees to navigate company systems and access work instructions.
• Develop onboarding programs with milestones and competencies.
• Create lesson plans, presentations, and full curricula.
• Use LMS and content tools to deliver scalable courses.
• Define and track training effectiveness metrics and report trends.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and Quality to improve onboarding.
