Job summary

BayOne Solutions is seeking a Technical Trainer to deliver AI, APIs and developer enablement content across Basecamp learning paths in a hybrid setup (SF or NYC). This 12-month contract role focuses on live instruction, hands-on labs, and an engaging classroom experience.

You will train across Architect, Admin, Developer, and Associate Architect tracks, run labs, gather learner feedback, and collaborate with curriculum owners; travel to cohort sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Experienced technical instructor or trainer.
• Ability to teach API- and AI-product content to mixed audiences.
• Strong live facilitation and Q&A skills.
• Willingness to travel regularly for cohort weeks.

Job Title: Technical Trainer – AI, APIs & Developer Enablement

Location: Hybrid - SF OR NYC Offices

Duration: 12 months contract (potential to extend)

Pay Rate: $180-$185/hr on w2

About the role:

You will be a dedicated instructor for client's Basecamp technical onboarding programs, delivering live sessions across our 4-5 learning paths (Architect, Admin, Developer, Associate Architect; User path launching later). This is a delivery-focused role: you teach, run labs, and own the classroom experience while curriculum owners own the content.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver live technical sessions, in person and hybrid, across assigned Basecamp paths.
• Run hands-on labs and exercises; support learners through technical issues in the room.
• Dry-run sessions with curriculum owners ahead of each cohort and iterate on delivery.
• Collect and relay learner feedback and survey signal to program owners.
• Support day-of cohort operations alongside the program team.
• Travel to cohort sites as scheduled.

Required:

• Experienced technical instructor, trainer, or teaching-focused engineer.
• Comfortable teaching API- and AI-product content to mixed technical audiences.
• Strong live facilitation: can hold a room, handle questions, adapt pace in real time.
• Able to travel regularly for cohort weeks.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience teaching or enabling GTM/sales-adjacent technical audiences.
