Cencora is seeking a Training Specialist to support American Health Packaging in the US. The role drives on-the-job training, ensures safety and compliance, and coordinates schedules with operations to meet readiness timelines.

Responsibilities include using approved materials, documenting progress, and updating training content as revisions occur. Requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 2 years in manufacturing, with blister packaging knowledge and strong communication skills.

Job Details

This role is in support of American Health Packaging, a Cencora business offering pharma packaging services in the US

Shift: Monday-Friday 3:00pm-11:30pm

Pay $27.00 not including shift differential

Education

Requires completion of a high school diploma OR GED

Work Experience

Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience preferred.

Skills and Knowledge

• Knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing and packaging, including strong understanding of blister packaging.
• Experience preparing repackaging materials and equipment for production runs, including packaging concepts, practices, and procedures (required).
• Working knowledge of departmental processes and standard procedures and ability to follow and reinforce them.
• Ability to simplify complex tasks into clear, teachable steps for others.
• Ability to communicate instructions and concepts effectively in group and one-on-one settings.
• Ability to listen actively, communicate respectfully, reduce conflict, and solicit participation and feedback to complete tasks.
• Demonstrated commitment to on-the-job training (OJT) requirements and interest in developing others.
• Ability to observe task performance, provide timely feedback, and share observations in a constructive, non-threatening manner.
