Job summary

Avangrid Power, LLC is seeking a Wind Technical Trainer to support the wind turbine fleet operations and create/execute effective training programs. You will work with operations, accounting, information systems, and supply chain to ensure optimized processes and training across the fleet.

The role requires developing training materials, delivering in multiple formats (in-person, web-based, self-paced), and coaching field technicians while maintaining regulatory and safety standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering or related field with 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience with Oracle, SAP or other mainstream EAM systems.
  • Experience delivering instructor-led training using PowerPoint and virtual platforms such as Teams.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 40%.

Responsibilities

  • Review training materials, programs, and drive improvements.
  • Develop and deliver in-person, web-based and self-paced training programs.
  • Train personnel in EAM, safety, and operations.
  • Collaborate with management, plant personnel, accounting, supply chain and EAM systems teams to implement improvements.
  • Provide coaching and serve as SME to technicians.
