Job description

We're hiring: Technical Trainer in Greer

Your tasks

• Prepare and conduct technical training programs
• Deploy training to targeted personnel
• Prepare training material and classroom agenda
• Continuously enhance technical instructional delivery and presentation skills
• Ensure the quality and consistency of course content throughout a course life cycle
• Assist in design of computer-based and multimedia curriculum
• Create instructor materials (course outlines, background material, instructional materials, and training aids)
• Assess training needs and certification requirements
• Responsible for client relationship, development and project execution

Your profile

• Post High School Education (Engineering BSEE, BSEET, BSME or equivalent education or experience)
• 5 - 7 years of experience preferred
• Broad understanding of automation, instrumentation and controls for complex automation projects
• Electrical / Controls experience required
• Siemens S7 and/or TIA Portal experience required
• Other Controls experience a plus
• Good skills to conduct and present course material
• Good oral English skills
• US Citizenship or Authorization to work in the US
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
• No Felony Convictions
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Willingness to travel/work overtime/work any shift/work weekends
• Ability to work independently and problem solve
• Demonstration of a professional attitude and courtesy towards others
