Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Robotics, or related field, or 8+ years of hands-on experience.
• 8+ years of C++ development (C++20) with 2+ years leading engineers.
• Strong background in planning, multi-agent systems, and optimization.
• Experience with Docker and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu).
• Ability to translate complex math into clear technical docs and communicate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Drive the technical vision, architecture, and roadmap for the Autonomous Behaviors and Agents team, from concept to delivery.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of engineers; drive design reviews and engineering standards.
• Guide design and implementation of multi-agent optimization for distributed decision-making.
• Direct development of temporal logic frameworks and constraint-satisfaction algorithms for planning scenarios.
• Partner with product, program, and customers to translate mission needs into priorities and delivery commitments.
• Coordinate cross-team integration across Axion and Acuity systems.
