Job summary

Applied Intuition seeks a Technical Team Lead for the Autonomous Behaviors and Agents team. You will guide engineers building real-time decision-making systems and intelligent agents across domains, translating complex algorithms into deployable capabilities.

You will own the technical direction, mentor engineers, and drive architecture while remaining hands-on when needed. Strong C++20, optimization, and leadership are essential in this mission-critical role.

Qualifications

• MS/PhD in CS/Software Engineering/Robotics or 8+ years developing intelligent agents or planning systems.
• Extensive experience delivering complex autonomous software and real-time systems.
• Strong background in C++20, performance, and team leadership.

Responsibilities

• Drive technical vision, architecture, and roadmap for the Autonomous Behaviors and Agents team.
• Mentor engineers, lead reviews, and enforce coding standards and rigor.
• Guide multi-agent optimization algorithms for distributed decision-making.
• Develop temporal logic and constraint-satisfaction for complex planning scenarios.
• Collaborate with product and customers to translate mission needs into priorities.
• Coordinate cross-team integration across Axion and Acuity systems.
