Position: Technical Targeting Officer

The officer will use technical operations and development activities to maximize collection abilities. This position requires strong analytic, research, and investigative skills combined with personal initiative and technical expertise.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct media exploitation and forensic targeting
  • Identify leads from technical information and generate lead packages
  • Research and brief on current and long-term projects/initiatives
  • Exploit key data to inform intelligence operations
  • Identify and assess vulnerabilities and technology trends to enable new collection to answer intelligence questions
Candidate Requirements

This posting is for multiple opportunities ranging in years of experience. All positions require possession of a current/active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph. Candidates without this clearance will be disqualified. The level of opportunity, including compensation, will be determined after an in-person meeting.

  • Level 1: requires 1 year of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree
  • Level 2: requires 3 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree
  • Level 3: requires 7 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree
  • Level 4: requires 12 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree
  • Level 5: requires 20 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree
  • *Additional 5 years of relevant experience may substitute for a degree*
Required Education & Experience
  • All positions require possession of a current/active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
  • Years of specialized experience will determine level.
  • Strong experience with Customer’s tools and report-writing methods.
  • Regional or topic-based subject matter expertise.
  • Experience with forensic analysis and media exploitation (*forensic experience not required but desired*).
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience in HUMINT sources and collections.
  • Ability to succeed in ambiguous, fast-paced environments with limited supervision.
  • Self-starter with strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Ability to engage with partners to understand and anticipate changing needs and requirements.
