Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support for cytology and molecular products via phone and email to both internal and external customers
  • Troubleshoot issues with diagnostic instruments, reagents, and software
  • Document customer interactions in the CRM system and escalate issues as needed
  • Authorize returns of customer products for investigation and determine replacements
  • Serve as a liaison to other departments concerning specific product lines
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in biology, Cytotechnology, Medical Laboratory Science, or related field
  • Ability to understand scientific concepts related to DNA, RNA, and cytology
  • Strong customer service skills with good communication and multitasking abilities
  • Flexibility in schedule and comfort with phone communication
  • Eagerness to start a career in the field and grow within the department
Preferred Qualifications
  • ASCP Cytotechnologist (CT), Medical Technologist (MT), or Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) certification or equivalent
  • Experience as a Cytology Prep Technician
  • Familiarity with cytology, RT PCR, molecular, or virology
  • Ability to troubleshoot Laboratory Information Systems interfaces and network computers
  • Bilingual in French and English
