Overview

The Off-Hours Technical Support team ensures customers have a reliable, secure, and high-performing MEDITECH EHR system. This team addresses technical challenges impacting the system's core code, web infrastructure, and integrations (REST APIs). They collaborate with customers and vendors on large-scale IT projects to resolve issues across software bugs, hardware malfunctions, network problems, and functionality issues within the MEDITECH EHR solution.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and troubleshoot technical issues related to hardware, networking, operating systems, databases, cloud structures, and related areas
  • Collaborate with other members of the Off-Hours technical team to triage and resolve identified issues, including infrastructure and/or applications
  • Serve as a front-line technical resource for recognizing and resolving issues in the EHR, understanding the critical nature of any system disruption in a healthcare setting
  • Work on scheduled customer technical projects during off-hours to minimize downtime (e.g., data center moves, hardware and software upgrades, Windows patching, system-level code delivery)
  • Collaborate with customers and assist vendor partners on large-scale IT projects involving software, hardware, network, and functionality issues with the MEDITECH EHR solution
  • Location: Lowder Brook (Westwood) or Foxborough
  • Hours: Monday through Friday, 5:00 PM to 12:00 AM, plus one additional hour during the week to total 36 hours (or four days per week, 4:00 PM to 1:00 AM)
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or associate degree with coursework in a computer-related field
  • Familiarity with Windows Server and desktop environments
  • LAN/WAN and PC maintenance skills

Compensation and Benefits

Salary range: $52,800–$63,000 per year, with a 10% shift differential. Actual salary determined by skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. MEDITECH offers benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance; profit sharing trust and 401(k); tuition reimbursement; generous paid time off, sick days, personal time, and paid holidays. This is a hybrid role with in-office and remote work as designated by management.
