Job summary

Fox Valley Elevator, based in Wisconsin, is seeking a Technical Support Specialist with mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills for an office-based role with occasional site visits. You will assist field technicians, ensure code compliance, and provide parts quotes while delivering technician training.

The ideal candidate has HVAC or mechanical experience, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication.

No degree required — hands-on experience matters most.

Preferred (Not Required)

• Elevator industry experience
• CET, PMP, or other technical certifications
• Experience training technicians
• Knowledge of residential elevator codes
• Familiarity with modernization or legacy equipment
• PLC
• Mitsubishi and Siemens products.

Work Environment

• Office-based role with predictable daily routine
• Occasional site visits
• Extended phone/computer work
• Light lifting (up to 75 lbs)
