GAST Manufacturing, a unit of IDEX Corporation, is seeking a customer support specialist to troubleshoot product issues and advise on parts and accessories. You will collaborate with sales, engineering, and manufacturing to resolve inquiries and ensure orders flow smoothly.

The role emphasizes clear communication, technical reading, quick problem solving, and maintaining SLA targets while supporting distributors and customers globally.

Qualifikationen

• At least 1 year in internal/external communications with customers or 2 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Pneumatic systems experience preferred or repair/service experience and the ability to respond effectively to customers.

Aufgaben

• Provide technical assistance and troubleshoot with customers and distributors via calls, emails, and web inquiries.
• Handle technical or product-related inquiries and customer cross-over requests and complaints.
• Assist customers purchasing parts, kits, and accessories; enter orders in JDE.
• Coordinate with sales, customer service, shipping, engineering, manufacturing and quality to resolve inquiries.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with the Customer Support team.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

Scope Of Role

Troubleshooting and diagnostic evaluation of product and application functions. Provide product selection recommendation for Gast/JUN-AIR customers and channel partners. Communicate effectively with customers and channel partners to direct necessary resolution strategy.

Essential Duties

• Provides technical assistance and helps troubleshoot with customers and distributors in response to incoming phone calls, emails, and web inquiries.
• Handles technical or product related calls, information or cross-over requests and customer complaints.
• Assist customers who are prepared to buy parts, kits, and accessories. Upon product selection, entering orders through our ecommerce portal into JDE.
• Works and communicates with sales, customer assistance, shipping, engineering, manufacturing and quality departments to satisfy customer inquiries.
• Collaborates cross functionally with rest of Customer Support team.
• Additional duties as assigned by manager.

Education And Experience Requirements Or Equivalencies

• At least one (1) year demonstrated experience in internal/external communications with customers - OR - At least two (2) years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Pneumatic systems experience preferred - OR - Repair/service experience preferred and the ability to respond effectively to customers.
