Technical Support Representative - Remote (Boca Raton, FL; ...)

ProfitSolv is a SaaS business services provider for the legal and accounting industry. We are looking for a Software Support Rep to join our Legal Cloud Solutions growing team!

The primary function of the Technical Support Representative (TSR) is to identify, test, and report issues affecting the integrity and functionality of ProfitSolv’s software products. The TSR also acts as a technical resource for Support and other departments on elevated situations, performs data services for clients (including data repairs and evaluations, and test and live conversion data validation).

As a Technical Support Representative, you will:
  • Provide elevated technical support for third-party integration programs, overflow, pre-release processes, and internal programs.
  • Work with Tech Support Supervisor, specialists, and technical services to resolve IT/Hardware related issues.
  • Write and review technical documentation.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling payments or other add-on products and forward client information to the appropriate sales contact.
  • Perform call analyses by evaluating feature usage, uncovering and reporting trends, and assessing the overall support resources for the software.
  • Test software for functionality and usability at times.
  • Attend and participate in annual forums and trade shows as requested.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

This position follows established policies and procedures to keep confidential information secure.

A great fit for this position has:
  • Good understanding of the software development life cycle and programming concepts.
  • Proficiency with MS Suite, including MS Graph.
  • Basic knowledge of DOS commands and network troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to clearly explain technical information to individuals with varying technical abilities.
  • Associate degree in Computer Science or a related field with relevant coursework, or equivalent experience.
  • Programming coursework and knowledge of coding.
  • Preferably 1+ years of technical support and/or quality assurance experience.
Additional desirable qualifications:
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Strong initiative and sound decision-making ability.
  • Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for prolonged periods.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Ability to handle stress and meet deadlines.
