Job Description

Position: Technical Support Representative
Reports to: None

Summary: Technical support specialist for POS and payment solutions including CLOVER, PAX, Valor, Pay Hub Gateway, Mobile, and eCommerce. Provides internal IT support for technical and network issues as needed.

Essential Duties:

  • Provides technical support by troubleshooting and gathering information on product problems.
  • Researches complex/unique issues and responds promptly.
  • Resolves hardware issues to ensure transaction processing.
  • Responds to escalated calls from other Technical Support Representatives.
  • Supports troubleshooting IT issues affecting communication and connectivity with partners and merchants.
  • Coordinates with inventory administrator to maintain product levels.

Satisfies quality assurance requirements by:

  • Completing initial setups promptly.
  • Providing installation and product training.
  • Conducting research and testing before deployment.

Establishes customer links by creating credentials and providing resources.

Provides support for:

  • CLOVER POS: Deployment, setup, troubleshooting, and testing new enhancements.
  • PAX POS: Setup, troubleshooting, file builds, deployment, and testing.
  • Dejavoo: Setup, programming, installation, training, and escalation.

Education & Experience: High School Diploma (some college preferred) and at least 3 years of technology experience including transaction systems. Strong problem-solving, communication, organization, and multi-tasking skills required.
