The OpportunityWe’re growing and looking for a skilled Technical Support & Reporting Specialist to join our dynamic service team. This is a client-facing, technical role that blends hands-on support with advanced reporting and data analysis.
️ Important Requirement: Strong, demonstrable experience with Crystal Reports and SQL Server is mandatory for this position. Candidates without practical expertise in both Crystal Reports and SQL Server will not be considered for this position.
This position is perfect for someone who thrives on solving real-world problems, enjoys creating impactful custom reports, and can support clients with both empathy and technical precision.
What You’ll Do·Serve as the primary point of contact for customer support, providing prompt and knowledgeable assistance.
·Train clients across varying technical levels on how to best use our software.
·Design, build, and maintain reports using Crystal Reports and SQL Server.
·Troubleshoot and optimize existing reports and data queries.
·Assist with software installations, workstation setups, and system upgrades.
·Maintain thorough documentation for both internal use and client knowledge sharing.
·Track support interactions and ensure proper follow-up and resolution.
·Work closely with development and support teams, as well as independently.
What You Must Bring·High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in IT or a related field is a plus.
·Hands-on experience with Crystal Reports and SQL Server. This is non-negotiable.
·Solid understanding of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
·Ability to write efficient SQL queries and perform data analysis confidently.
·Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
·Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
·A service-minded attitude, eager to help users succeed.
Nice-to-Haves·Familiarity with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
·Prior experience in a software support or client service role.
·Ability to use tools like Power BI or Tableau for dashboard creation or presenting report data in a client-friendly way.
