Technical Support Operator - Remote Opportunities

Primary Services is excited to announce the role of Technical Support Operator for our client, a growing company in the renewable energy sector. This remote position offers the opportunity to provide technical troubleshooting and support for solar energy systems while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced, forward-thinking environment. The role comes with the potential for career advancement, whether you want to move into training, tech support leadership, or other roles as the company scales.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide technical troubleshooting and diagnostics support to customers over the phone.
  2. Assist customers in verifying components of solar systems using homeowner checklists.
  3. Use tools like ClickUp and PerformYard for task management and issue tracking.
  4. Collaborate with Tier 2 and Tier 3 technicians for complex technical escalations.
  5. Maintain accurate service documentation and records of customer interactions.
  6. Ensure the timely and efficient resolution of technical malfunctions for solar energy systems.

Qualifications:

  1. Previous experience in tech support or troubleshooting, preferably in the renewable energy or solar industry.
  2. Ability to measure watts and a solid understanding of electrical systems.
  3. Associate’s degree, science degree, or technical school background preferred.
  4. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus for enhanced customer support.
  5. Availability to work 4 pm – 12 am shifts.
  6. Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
