Job summary

Niterra North America, in Santa Clara, CA, is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to provide engineering and design support for NTK semiconductor products. The role connects customers, the US sales team, and engineering in Japan, with responsibilities spanning design analysis, reviews, and technical knowledge sharing.

Onsite position requiring collaboration with global teams, solving technical inquiries, and supporting quote inquiries for Japan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Fluency in English and Japanese.
• Advanced proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Zuken) and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform design analysis on STF, package, and assembly.
• Create and review designs using CAD software.
• Serve as liaison between Japan, the US team, and customers.
• Participate in customer and internal design reviews.
• Obtain DFM drawing approval from NTK Ceramic Co.
• Attend industry events to represent NTK and build customer relationships.
• Monitor semiconductor industry and technology trends.
• Contribute to new product development activities.
• Develop and maintain Engineering Specifications.
• Investigate and respond to customer quality claims.
• Coordinate technology exchange sessions on semiconductor topics.
