Job summary

Prisma Health in Greenville Memorial Hospital seeks an ITS Desktop Services technician to provide technical support for IT systems and oversee warehouse IT tasks. You will install hardware and software, manage inventories, and coordinate with vendors for onsite repair.

This role reports to a supervisor and requires an associate degree in IT or related field; no experience is required. Valid driver's license with acceptable MVR is required.

Job Summary

Provides technical support for Information Technology (IT) systems. Oversees warehouse-related IT tasks.

Essential Functions

• All team members are expected to be knowledgeable and compliant with Prisma Health's purpose: Inspire health. Serve with compassion. Be the difference.
• Receives shipments and import the information into the inventory system.
• Conducts regular audits of warehouse IT equipment and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Pull equipment from the warehouse and prestige equipment
• Installs ITS hardware solutions and software applications following predetermined standards and guidelines.
• Maintains detail inventory and device management databases.
• Delivers equipment to campus and picks up old equipment to be tested and disposed
• Repair broken devices and/or contacts HP for onsite support
• Performs hardware and software updates to ITS solutions including mobile devices following predetermined standards documentation.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Supervisory/Management Responsibilities

• This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director or executive.

Minimum Requirements

• Education - Associate degree in Information Technology or related field of study
• Experience - No experience required.

Required Certifications, Registrations, Licenses

• Valid Driver's License and an acceptable motor vehicle record as defined by the Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) chart.
