What You’ll Gain

You’ll get a broad view of how an early-stage medical device company moves from technical development toward commercialization. You’ll gain hands-on experience evaluating scientific evidence, developing grant applications, researching markets and technologies, supporting fundraising, and working with potential clinical and industry partners.

You’ll work closely with company leadership and contribute to projects that directly influence OrthoIQ’s technical and commercial strategy.

Build the next generation of surgical hammers

Our main product is an orthopedic automatic hammer with an integrated sensor that tells the surgeon when to stop hammering. Right now they judge when to stop hammering based on feel, but overhammering can cause bone fractures and underhammering causes the implant to loosen over time.
