Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a capable full-stack engineer to own features end-to-end in a fast-growing startup environment. You will work across Python/Django, React, and AWS to build reliable, scalable systems that power our core workflows and AI-powered capabilities for law firms.

The role emphasizes collaboration with product, ops, and design to decide what to build and why, while helping shape engineering standards as the company grows.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building reliable, secure software in production.
• Full-stack experience – frontend and backend.
• Proficiency in Python and React, or demonstrably fast at picking up new stacks.
• A track record of writing clean, testable, maintainable code.
• Experience with Django, AWS, or OpenAI APIs (Nice-to-Haves).
• Prior work at an early-stage startup where you helped set engineering standards (Nice-to-Haves).
• Familiarity with legal tech, document processing, or data-heavy workflows (Nice-to-Haves).
