Job summary

HCL Technologies Limited seeks an experienced Injection Molding Process Engineer to develop and qualify the molding process for the Orion T02 mold and related duties. This role requires operating a large horizontal injection molding press with minimal supervision, leveraging Decoupled III and RJG eDART tooling.

The candidate should have hands-on experience in medical device molding qualifications (OQ/PQ) and a track record of process optimization in fast-paced manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

• Hands-on injection molding process development in the past 3 years.
• Ability to independently develop and troubleshoot molding processes.
• Experience with Decoupled III processing and RJG eDART or similar systems.
• Experience executing OQ/PQ qualifications for molded components in the medical device industry.

Responsibilities

• Perform molding feasibility and develop/optimize the T02 injection molding process.
• Independently set up, operate, and troubleshoot a large horizontal injection molding machine.
• Utilize scientific molding, Decoupled III, and process feedback tools such as RJG eDART.
• Coordinate development machine time with Operations to protect scope, schedule, budget while balancing Ops needs.
• Execute OQ/PQ activities, analyze results, and complete qualification report with minimal input from other experienced peers.

Seeking an experienced Injection Molding Process Engineer to develop and qualify the molding process for the Orion T02 mold and other related duties as assigned. This individual must be able to work independently with minimal direct support, specifically they must have experience operating and troubleshooting a large horizontal injection molding press (Sodick or Sumitomo preferred).
