The IBM Technical Specialist Apprenticeship Program provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience, professional training, and mentorship while working alongside experienced technology professionals supporting Federal clients.

As a Technical Specialist Apprentice, you will learn how enterprise technology solutions are implemented, supported, and optimized in real-world environments. Through structured learning and on-the-job experience, you will develop the technical and professional skills needed to build a successful career in technology.

What is an Apprenticeship?

The IBM Apprenticeship Program is a U.S. Department of Labor Registered Apprenticeship that combines structured learning with hands‑on work experience. The program lasts up to 12 months and is designed to help participants build technical and professional skills while earning a nationally recognized credential.

Throughout the apprenticeship, you will follow a learning roadmap and gain practical experience working with teams that support technology solutions, client environments, cloud technologies, and business operations.
