Job summary

Pike Engineering in Marietta, GA seeks a technically skilled professional to provide guidance in identifying, analyzing, and resolving complex problems under supervision.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in area of expertise with 2 years of relevant experience; or Bachelor’s or MS; or 5 years of relevant technical experience
• Understanding of fundamental concepts in area of expertise
• Ability to apply knowledge of principles and practices in the technical area
• Proven computer skills relevant to the area
• Time management to plan and prioritize work
• Ability to work with diverse backgrounds

Job description

Position Overview

Provide technical expertise and judgment in the application of fundamental concepts, practices and procedures related to a technical field of specialization (i.e., biology, GIS, environmental science, etc) with some supervision. Incumbents are expected to develop skills in their area of expertise, and the ability to work with greater independence.

Duties & Responsibilities

Under some supervision, in the area of expertise will provide

• independent technical expertise and guidance in the identification, analysis, and resolution of more complex technical problems

• assistance in training less experienced technical specialists

• complete and accurate highly technical documents such as summary reports, correspondence, specifications, procedures, and statistical analyses

Requirements
