Job summary

Roblox is seeking a Technical Sourcer (short-term) to build and scale recruiting for engineering talent in a hybrid San Mateo setting. The role is 6–12 months with in-office presence Tuesday to Thursday.

You will partner with recruiters and leaders, proactively source talent, and influence processes to hire senior and niche engineers in a fast-paced environment.

• Ensure operational excellence with clean pipelines, accurate data, and strong ATS hygiene.
• Use data and insights to diagnose bottlenecks, measure impact, and tell compelling stories to stakeholders.
• Act as a strategic thought partner to hiring leaders, bringing recruiting analytics and competitive intelligence to shape growth.

The role is 6-12 month, with extensions possible depending on performance and business needs. We follow a hybrid schedule out of our San Mateo office, requiring in-office presence Tuesday-Thursday.

You Will:

• Partner closely with Roblox recruiters and business leaders to deeply understand each team's goals and talent needs, then identify, attract, and engage top candidates who will drive our mission forward

You Have:

• 6+ years of top of funnel technical recruiting experience (Engineering, C++, Product)

• Demonstrated success in hiring senior and niche technical talent in competitive markets
• A strong track record of influencing stakeholders and solving complex recruiting challenges with creativity and innovation
• Experience utilizing an Applicant Tracking System to maintain candidate pipelines
• A data-driven approach with the ability to analyze metrics, surface insights, and inform strategy
• A startup mentality and open to thinking outside of the box

The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual hourly rate could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Please note that not all benefits shown on this page are applicable to this temporary position.

Monthly Salary Range

$12,176-$15,480 USD

Roles that are based in an office are onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, with optional presence on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
