TikTok is seeking a Technical Sourcer for the San Jose area to partner with hiring managers and recruiters across English and Mandarin-speaking regions. This temporary six-month assignment is managed by a third-party agency, with the contractor serving as a third-party associate.

Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers and recruiters across both English and Mandarin-speaking regions to deeply understand technical requirements, define candidate profiles, and calibrate on talent needs to ensure sourcing efforts are targeted and effective.
• Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to build a robust pipeline of top-tier technical talent for critical roles.
• Proactively identify and engage passive candidates through various channels, including LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow, and other niche technical communities.
• Continuously refine and improve our sourcing processes and tools to boost efficiency, candidate quality, and the overall effectiveness of our hiring funnel.
• Support and lead various talent acquisition projects, including organizing virtual hiring events, building market intelligence reports, and developing diversity-focused sourcing initiatives.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sourcing experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment (in-house or agency).
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to craft compelling outreach that generates high response rates from a technical audience.
• Experience with sourcing tools like LinkedIn Recruiter and other social media, or technical forums.
• Outstanding organizational skills and a keen eye for detail, with the ability to manage multiple, competing priorities and sourcing pipelines effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience hiring for Product Management, Design, Strategy, or Data Science.
• A data-driven mindset, with experience using metrics to inform sourcing strategy and measure success.
