Hermeus is seeking a Technical Sourcer to own the full sourcing lifecycle in a fast-growing, defense-focused environment in the United States. You will partner with recruiters and engineering leaders to understand hiring needs and build a robust candidate pipeline for space hardware roles.

You will proactively engage candidates through ATS and LinkedIn Recruiter, craft compelling outreach, and ensure a smooth candidate experience from initial contact to interview.

Qualifications

• 3+ years sourcing top-tier technical talent.
• 2+ years collaborating with Hiring Managers/Directors to gather requirements and update pipelines.
• Well-connected within space hardware engineering talent communities.
• Consultative approach to improve hiring outcomes and candidate experience.
• Strong technical understanding for engineering roles across the business.
• Excellent communication to understand candidates’ motivations and fit.
• Experience managing multiple pipelines end-to-end.

The Technical Sourcer plays a vital role in our recruitment efforts, directly influencing Hermeus' ability to attract and hire top-tier talent. As a key member of our recruiting team, you’ll help shape the company’s talent strategy during a period of rapid growth. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll work closely with recruiters and engineering leaders to define and meet hiring needs. You’ll have the autonomy, tools, and support to execute our strategy and help build a world-class team at Hermeus.

We’re seeking a Technical Sourcer who can own the entire sourcing process and is excited to make a meaningful impact within a small, fast‑moving team.

Responsibilities

• Act as a subject matter expert in prospecting techniques and tools used for information retrieval, data extraction, web-scraping, continuous process improvement, process automation, and candidate management
• Conduct interviews of potential candidates, demonstrating ability to anticipate hiring manager preferences through high interview-to-offer ratios
• Engage passive candidates using ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean strings, referral and campaigns
• Ensure a positive candidate experience at every touchpoint
• Build talent maps to generate market insights to inform your engagement strategy
• Represent the company's brand and recruiting team internally and externally
• Leverage internal resources to build strategy around selling our value proposition

Qualifications

• Over 3 years of experience sourcing top‑tier talent for technical roles
• 2+ years of experience interacting with internal stakeholders, including collaborating with Hiring Managers and Directors to gather requirements, review candidate profiles, and provide regular updates on pipeline progress
• Well-connected within the new space hardware engineering talent communities
• Proven ability to take a consultative approach, delivering improved hiring outcomes, enhancing candidate experience, and earning the trust of peers and internal stakeholders
• Strong grasp of the technical skills and qualifications required for engineering roles across the business
• Skilled in communicating clearly with candidates to understand their motivations, career goals, and organizational fit
• Experienced in managing multiple candidate pipelines and tracking their progress throughout the recruitment lifecycle
• Self‑motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision
