What to Expect
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with sales representatives and client success managers to understand technical requirements of enterprise and retail customers
- Develop and deliver technical solutions in alignment with company goals and objectives
- Oversee the design and delivery of complex electrical and mechanical solutions, ensuring high standards of quality
- Prepare technical response packages for client requests and communicate solutions effectively
- Stay updated on industry trends and drive innovation within the Global Solutions & Sales Engineering team
What is Required
- Two or four-year college engineering degree or bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution preferred, preferably in mechanical or electrical engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a technical role including pre-sales support, operations, design consulting, or construction
- Previous experience in technical pre-sales and/or project management
- Proficiency in software applications such as AutoCAD, CFD Modeling, Visio, and Salesforce
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with effective oral and written communication abilities
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Relevant industry certifications in lieu of a degree
- Experience working with internal and external stakeholders to influence positive outcomes
- Ability to develop and write a bill of materials and scope of work for customer infrastructure deployment
- Familiarity with competitive offerings in the data center industry
