Digital Wave is headquartered in Florida with satellite offices in India and Europe. This position is U.S. based and remote.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Technical Solution Architect has a critical role within our Professional Services consulting team responsible for helping to design, solve, and deploy the Digital Wave Platform for our Retail and Brand customers. The focus of the role is to map functional and technical customer requirements to ensure optimal integration architecture and solution configuration. The Solution Architect will become an expert with the Digital Wave platform and solutions from a business and technical perspective, serve as a trusted advisor to our customers, work closely with Digital Wave project managers and implementation consultants, and influence the Digital Wave product roadmap.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Solution and design integrations between Digital Wave and customer environments to ensure customer business objectives are met
• Alongside the implementation consultants, contribute to solution definition workshops and requirements documentation
• Utilize learned knowledge of the Digital Wave suite to ensure the most efficient approaches are being deployed to meet customer and Digital Wave objectives
• Apply Retail, Brand, and e-Comm platform domain knowledge to guide best practice and thought leadership decisions
• Be willing and able to be hands-on with data loading and troubleshooting integrations, as necessary
• Demonstrate technical credibility and consultative skills with assigned customers
• Track and analyze issues through to resolution
• Document deployed solution architecture and integration flows
• Use functional, technical, and system implementation skills to identify potential challenges and risks in order to drive risk mitigation activities
• Estimated travel is 75% but can vary by project for defined periods of time
• Proficiency with using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, Perplexity) to support efficiency and productivity within your role is required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements:

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree
• At least 5 years of solution architecture experience including software, data management and infrastructure
• 5+ years in the retail software sector or comparable direct Retail / Brand experience
• Experience with retail ERP and merchandising systems
• Experience with eCommerce platforms such as SFCC, Oracle ATG and or others
• Experience with Product Information Management (PIM) or MDM systems is highly preferable
• Experience working with emerging technologies focusing on cloud solutions, SaaS platforms and enterprise applications.
• Experience with Rest API, containers and microservices
• Linux, Java Script, Python, SQL, and GraphQL skills are desirable
• Experience with Agile software development and delivery methodology
• High attention to detail and must be able to react quickly to changing demands
• Passionate about learning and mastering new business systems and look for creative solutions to problem-solving
• Cloud, security, and/or technology certifications a plus
• Must be customer oriented and driven to exceed expectations
• Must be flexible, and when needed, willing to take on unassigned tasks to ensure continual progress
