Job summary

Mfinite Consulting LLC is building a pool of architects for contract assignments with North Carolina state and public-sector agencies in the Raleigh area. Assignments run about 12 months with extensions possible; agencies set onsite, hybrid, or remote schedules.

Design architecture for new and existing systems, develop standards and roadmaps, and ensure solutions align with the State's enterprise architecture.

Qualifications

• Hands-on background in cloud (Azure or AWS)
• Experience with integration/APIs
• Experience with data or infrastructure
• Strong diagramming and written documentation skills

Responsibilities

• Design solution, application, technical or domain architecture for new and existing systems
• Develop technical standards, reference architectures, patterns, blueprints and roadmaps
• Assess whether proposed solutions fit the State's enterprise architecture (hardware, network, software, security)
• Guide decision makers to the most compliant, cost-effective option
• Work with agency SMEs, business liaisons and NCDIT to align business and IT
• Research technology and market trends in your architecture area

Mfinite Consulting is building a pool of technical, solution and enterprise architects for contract assignments with North Carolina state and public-sector agencies in the Raleigh area. Assignments typically run 12 months, often with extensions; agencies set the schedule (onsite, hybrid or remote).

Pay & Schedule

• $46 - $58 per hour, based on experience and skill level
• Full-time, about 40 hours per week
• Contract assignment; W-2 hourly employee of Mfinite Consulting LLC
• Direct deposit

What You'll Do

• Design solution, application, technical or domain architecture for new and existing systems

What You Need

• Architecture or senior engineering experience (Junior 1-3 years, Mid-Level 3-5, Senior 5-7, Expert 7+)
• Hands-on background in cloud (Azure or AWS), integration/APIs, data or infrastructure
• Strong diagramming and written documentation skills
• Eligible to work in the U.S.; able to pass a background check

Great Fit If You Have

• TOGAF, AWS/Azure Solutions Architect or similar certification
• Public-sector enterprise architecture experience
