Job summary

GlobalFoundries in Malta, NY seeks a Technical Solution Architect to guide end-to-end process design, build, test, and integration of the I2P value stream and to provide technical leadership for Architecture and deployment of Siemens Teamcenter PLM.

You will collaborate with global teams, mentor GFIT delivery staff, and help define the PLM roadmap; travel up to 10% domestically with potential international assignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 6 years of experience in PLM roles.
• 6 years experience with data migration, mapping, validation to PLM Teamcenter from legacy applications.
• 6 years experience with Teamcenter integration with ERP (SAP), CRM, MES.
• Experience with configuring and customizing PLM systems.
• Leadership and mentoring of team members and implementation partners.
• Cross-functional, global collaboration to align recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in end-to-end process design, build, test, integration of I2P value stream.
• Provide technical and functional guidance for Architecture and deployment of Siemens Teamcenter PLM.
• Review plans and guide project team during build, data conversion, testing, cutover, and service transition to ensure a successful go live.
• Guide the strategy and roadmap of PLM implementation.
• Design the key I2P enterprise structure and master data objects (business partner).
• Provide delivery support and assist in resolving Teamcenter risks and issues.
• Coordinate with stakeholders focusing on Teamcenter Data Model, Workflows, and modules to implement business processes.
• Apply industry best practices to manage business processes using OOTB capabilities.
• Travel up to 10% domestically; potential Singapore travel; 1 week per year; 100% telecommuting available.

Summary of Role

Essential Responsibilities

Assist in the e2e process design, build, test, integration of I2P (Idea to Product) value stream Provide technical and functional guidance for Architecture, Deployment of Siemens Teamcenter PLM.

Assist in the resolution of process and integration design issues related to I2P Value Stream.

Review plans and provide guidance to project team during build, data conversion, testing, cutover, and service transition to ensure a successful go live.

Guide the strategy and overall roadmap of PLM implementation.

Design of the key I2P enterprise structure and master data objects specifically business partner.

Provide delivery support and assist in resolving open Team Center Solution architecture related risks and issues.

Responsible for functional specifications, data conversion, integration specifications related to the I2P value stream.

Provide thought Leader, best practice, and Subject Matter Expertise, writing position papers and mentor, coach and upskill GFIT solution delivery team.

Coordinate with stakeholders focusing on Teamcenter Data Model (BMIDE, LOVs etc.), Workflows and other Teamcenter modules to implement and maintain business processes.

Responsible for implementing the industry best practices to manage Business processes using the OOTB capabilities.

Travel to GF locations, less than 10% of his time, primarily domestic, with future travel to Singapore possible (1 week a year), to work with Business Team to discuss new requirements/enhancements to enable PLM business process in Teamcenter PLM.

100% telecommuting available.

Required Qualifications

Education - Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field of study plus

• Experience - 6 years of experience in job offered or as a PLM Technical Manager or PLM Solution Architect.
• Requires 6 years of experience with: 1. data migration, mapping, data validation to PLM Teamcenter from legacy applications 2. PLM Teamcenter integration with ERP(SAP), CRM, MES System. 3. configuration and customization of PLM systems based on solution design documents 4. providing technical and functional guidance for the planning, architecture, deployment, and integration of Siemen's Teamcenter PLM platform 5. guidance and mentoring of team members and implementation partners 6. liaising with cross-functional, global teams to ensure alignment of recommendations with overall business processes.

Expected Salary Range

Salary range: $170,115 - $208,000

The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
