Position Overview

Intrinsic is looking for a Technical Software Growth Engineer with a strong blend of technical acumen, strategic thinking, and strong existing customer relationships within the U.S. Air Force and Space Force ecosystem. You will be a key member of our go-to-market team, responsible for guiding customers through solution discovery, architecture, and adoption of our cutting-edge software and AI/ML technologies.

This role requires deep familiarity with Air Force and Space Force innovation organizations (Kessel Run, AFRL, ABMS), a technical background in modern software development, and hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks. The ideal candidate is a mission-aligned problem solver with deep personal connections into these organizations who can also bridge engineering, sales, and federal program execution.

What You’ll Do:

• Act as a trusted technical advisor and solution architect for U.S. Air Force customers, especially within Kessel Run, AFRL, and ABMS.
• Lead pre-sales and early customer engagement efforts, aligning Intrinsic’s solutions to mission objectives and technical environments.
• Present, demonstrate, and prototype complex software and AI/ML solutions for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Work closely with product, engineering, delivery, and business development teams to translate customer requirements into viable, scalable solutions.
• Drive influence in capture strategies, white papers, technical proposals, and customer briefings.
• Foster long-term strategic relationships with military, government, and industry stakeholders.
• Stay current on defense technology trends, JADC2-related initiatives, and emerging Air Force programs.

What You Bring

• 15+ years of experience in engineering, technical sales, or solution architecture roles, with a significant portion focused on US Air Force and/or Space Defense Agency programs.
• In-depth understanding of modern software development practices (DevSecOps, CI/CD, microservices, containerization, cloud-native architecture).
• Practical experience with AI/ML development, including hands-on work with tools like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and ML Ops platforms.
• A strong network within the U.S. Air Force and Space Defense Agency, including active relationships at Kessel Run, AFRL, and ABMS.
• Demonstrated ability to interface with senior defense stakeholders and guide mission-aligned technical decisions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience briefing both executive and technical audiences.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced, and highly collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Active or recently held Secret or Top-Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related technical field.
• Prior military service or deep familiarity with the defense acquisition process and lifecycle.
• Experience with government contracting and proposal development.
