Job summary

Atlas Copco Group Co.,Ltd is seeking a Subject Matter Expert to represent the brand onsite at MOBIS in Savannah, GA. The role focuses on optimizing torque tools and fastening equipment and collaborating directly with the customer to improve operations.

You will maintain, calibrate, and repair tools, diagnose issues quickly, and ensure data communication with reporting systems. This is a 2nd-shift on-site position requiring mechanical aptitude and customer-focused service.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in a production environment with manufacturing automation, assembly tooling, or data collection systems.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities and customer-focused service mindset.
• Ability to read and comprehend schematics; proficiency in MS Office, networking, and databases.

Responsibilities

• Be a Brand Ambassador interfacing with the customer to promote Atlas Copco’s tooling solutions.
• Maintain, calibrate, and perform preventative maintenance on torque tools and fastening equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve tooling, fastening, and basic network connectivity issues to minimize downtime.
• Repair and upgrade equipment to improve productivity and tool reliability.
• Configure and troubleshoot Atlas Copco tools and software within the customer’s network environment.

Are you our next Subject Matter Expert?

We are seeking a dynamic Subject Matter Expert (SME) to represent the Atlas Copco brand onsite at our customer, MOBIS. In this pivotal role, you will engage directly with our customer to optimize their torque tools and fastening equipment, making a tangible impact on their operations

What You’ll Do

• Be a Brand Ambassador: Interface with our customer to promote Atlas Copco’s commitment to excellence in torque tools and fastening solutions.
• Maintain & Calibrate Tools: Perform preventative maintenance, calibration, and performance checks to ensure tools run at peak efficiency.
• Troubleshoot & Resolve Issues: Quickly diagnose and resolve tooling, fastening, and basic network connectivity challenges to minimize downtime.
• Repair & Optimize Equipment: Conduct repairs, upgrades, and adjustments to enhance productivity and tool reliability.
• Networking Support: Configure, connect, and troubleshoot Atlas Copco tools and software within the customer’s network environment, ensuring proper communication with data systems and reporting tools.

You will report directly to the Site Manager and work onsite daily at MOBIS' Savannah, GA facility. This opening is on 2nd shift.

To succeed, you will need

• Experience: 3-5 years in a production environment with manufacturing automation, assembly tooling, or data collection systems.
• Mechanical Aptitude: Strong troubleshooting abilities
• Customer-Focused: Proven experience in delivering exceptional customer service.
• Technical Aptitude: Ability to read and comprehend schematics. Proficiency in MS Office, networking, and database systems.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
