International Paper in Omaha, NE seeks a Technical Services Representative to resolve complex technical issues and guide product sales and service strategies. You will collaborate with senior leaders to shape customer value propositions, provide market feedback, and support financial solutions for major accounts.

The role emphasizes packaging applications expertise, cross-functional coordination, and field visits to customer and manufacturing sites to drive reliable performance and value

Formación

• BS/BA in Related Field
• 8+ years’ experience with packaging applications
• Maintenance or engineering education or completion of advanced trade certification training is a plus
• Experience in the corrugated box industry is a plus

Responsabilidades

• Resolve significant technical, scientific, or engineering issues affecting sales installation and utilization of products/services.
• Coordinate with senior technical leaders and provide insights for customer value propositions.
• Provide timely feedback on market, customer, and competitive activity.
• Participate in development and delivery of financial solutions.
• Primarily handle large accounts or complex product mix.
• Act as a technical expert in troubleshooting product sales, manufacturing and development.
• Visit manufacturing and customer facilities to identify and resolve issues; installation repair and maintenance where applicable.
• Serve as resource for internal departments and provide advice/solutions.
• Identify and initiate process improvements and be primary resource to company and customers.

$82,500 - $124,000 (USCORE)

Multiple factors, including Individual experience, skills and abilities will determine where an employee is ultimately placed in the pay range. Variable pay may provide additional opportunities for financial awards. This job is eligible to participate in IP’s annual incentive plan.

The Job You Will Perform

• Responsible for the resolution of significant technical, scientific, or engineering issues that affect the sales installation and utilization of organization products, and/or services.
• Coordinates appropriate course of action with senior technical leaders. The position is responsible for providing insights for development of customer Value Propositions that will create IP market advantage.
• Provide timely feedback on market, customer, and competitive activity influencing the market.
• Participates in development and has responsibility for delivery of financial solutions.
• Primarily handles large-sized accounts or selected customers with a complex product mix.
• Acts as a technical expert in troubleshooting the technical aspects of product sales, manufacturing, and development.
• Activities involve visiting company manufacturing and customer facilities to identify and resolve technical product manufacturing issues and, in some organizations, the installation repair and preventative maintenance of equipment sales.
• Serves as a resource for other internal departments and may be sought out by others for advice and solutions.
• Identifies and initiates problem resolution process improvement and serves as primary resource to company and customer operations.
