Job summary

The Probst Group is seeking a Technical Services Project Manager to support clients and internal teams in delivering innovative wastewater treatment equipment, operations, consulting, and process engineering. The role focuses on managing projects from inception through construction, maintaining budgets, schedules, and high client satisfaction.

Responsibilities include serving as the primary client contact, coordinating with stakeholders, and drafting bid requests and evaluating quotations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, preferably in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• 3-8+ years of experience in wastewater or a related field.
• Knowledge of wastewater treatment plant processes, equipment, instrumentation, and controls.
• Proficiency in utilizing P&ID and mechanical drawings.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Description The Technical Services Project Manager will support our clients and our organization in delivering innovative solutions for industrial wastewater treatment equipment, operations, consulting, and process engineering.

Key Responsibilities Of The Technical Services Project Manager

• Serve as primary client contact for all assigned projects/clients, maintaining positive relationships with clients, upholding the Probst reputation, and relaying or connecting technical expertise to the customer
• Utilize Probst project management methods to manage/maintain project schedules, scope, and budgets through all phases of an assigned project, including construction
• Coordinate schedules and budgets with project stakeholders
• Assign and manage tasks to project team members
• Utilize time management software to track and forecast budgets and complete invoicing
• Gather client data as needed for project execution or future work
• Draft bid requests and evaluate quotations for contractors and consultants
• Review purchase orders on assigned projects
• Manage projects with oversight from key stakeholders
• Support and document project risk and issues
• Other duties as assigned

Travel Expectations: Up to 25% as business needs require

Requirements

• Knowledge of wastewater treatment plant processes, equipment, instrumentation, and controls

Preferred Experience

• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
• Experience in wastewater project management
• Background in working with multidisciplinary teams
