Join us as a Technical Services Manager - Dairy Probiotics & Silage Inoculants!

In this role you'll make an impact by:

  • Providing technical support and training to Account Managers for probiotics and be actively involved in the sales process.
  • Utilizing additional technical services resources as well as FQFM support in the field to increase sales of inoculants through value-added services at the customer level.
  • Providing oversight of North American assigned dairy trials and provide detailed analysis of trial results to support Novonesis products and services.
  • Investigating customer complaints and solving routine industry problems on site. This includes, but is not limited to, new product applications, marketing efforts, new facilities, and key industry personnel.
  • Providing primary technical support and training to Account Managers for silage inoculants and being actively involved in the sales process.
  • Maintaining in-depth high-level contacts with key customers and influencers, particularly veterinarians and nutritionists.
  • Participating in professional trade associations and committees related to the dairy industry association activities.
  • Developing, writing, editing, and proofreading scientific documentation for marketing materials to support product promotion.
  • Developing a deep understanding of the competitive landscape for silage inoculants and probiotics and the services they provide.

To succeed you must hold:

  • PhD or DVM in Dairy Science or Dairy Nutrition with a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in the industry working with key accounts is preferred.
  • A passion for the animal agriculture industry.
  • Technical skills to know the right questions to ask of customers.
  • Good negotiation and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to utilize product knowledge to determine best course of action for customers.
  • Must be a self-starter with drive and initiative and work with little supervision.
  • Ability to travel up to 60% of working time.

Working environment is a home office setting about 40% of time and car and/or air travel about 60% of time. This position requires a valid driver's license and good driving record. The employee must be able to meet the travel requirements of the job.

Location: Remote* *Must live in one of these states: California, Idaho, or Washington.

Expected salary range: $140,000 - $175,000 plus 15% target bonus
