Job summary

NIU Technologies is seeking an experienced Technical Service Manager to support our growing dealer network in the golf cart and LSV industry across the United States. You will diagnose technical issues, assist dealers and customers, and help improve after-sales service.

The ideal candidate has deep EV knowledge, hands-on troubleshooting skills, and the ability to train dealers while collaborating with engineering on field-driven improvements. Some travel to dealer locations may be required.

Qualifications

  • 5–10 years in the golf cart/LSV or electric vehicle industry.
  • Strong understanding of electric drivetrain systems.
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical documentation.
  • Experience with dealer networks or distribution channels preferred.
  • Clear communication to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to dealers and customers, including remote troubleshooting and on-site diagnostics.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to lithium battery systems (LiFePO4) and vehicle wiring.
  • Improve service processes and SOPs; develop manuals and troubleshooting guides.
  • Conduct technical training sessions for dealers (in-person and virtual).
  • Track and manage service cases with proper documentation and follow-up.
  • Collaborate with engineering to identify recurring issues and drive product improvements.
  • Support product launches with technical field insights; travel to dealer locations as needed.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced and hands‑on Technical Service Manager to support our growing dealer network in the golf cart and low-speed vehicle (LSV) industry.

This role is responsible for diagnosing technical issues, supporting dealers and customers, improving service processes, and ensuring high-quality after-sales support across the U.S. market.

The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge of electric vehicles (especially golf carts or LSVs), excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work directly with dealers in both remote and on‑site environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to dealers and customers, including remote troubleshooting and on‑site diagnostics
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to:
  • Lithium battery systems (LiFePO4)
  • Electrical wiring and CAN communication
  • Charging systems and accessories
  • Work closely with dealers to improve service capabilities and efficiency
  • Conduct technical training sessions for dealers (in‑person and virtual)
  • Assist in developing service manuals, troubleshooting guides, and SOPs
  • Track and manage service cases, ensuring proper documentation and follow‑up
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to identify recurring issues and drive product improvements
  • Support product launches and provide technical insights from the field
  • Travel to dealer locations when necessary for escalated technical support
Qualifications
  • 5-10 years of experience in the golf cart, LSV, or electric vehicle industry
  • Strong understanding of:
  • Electric drivetrain systems
  • Lithium battery technology
  • Vehicle electrical systems
  • Proven hands‑on troubleshooting and repair experience
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical documentation
  • Experience working with dealer networks or distribution channels is highly preferred
  • Strong communication skills, able to explain technical issues clearly to non‑technical audiences
  • Self‑driven, detail‑oriented, and capable of managing multiple service cases
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with controller systems (e.g., Curtis, Navitas, or similar)
  • Familiarity with diagnostic tools and software for EV systems
  • Experience supporting aftermarket accessories and upgrades
  • Background working with U.S. dealers or service centers
