Arcwood Environmental is seeking a Technical Services Driver in Whiting, IN. The role involves operating semi-vans, roll-off and dump trailers, and delivering lab-pack services to various sites. A $7,000 sign-on bonus is offered and pay starts at $25 per hour based on experience.

Hours are onsite with no overnights expected and safety is prioritized. Ideal candidates hold a CDL with Hazmat endorsement and possess at least 1 year of driving experience and a high school diploma.

Responsibilities

• Drives and operates semi-vans, roll-off trailers, and dump trailers as required.
• Loads supplies for job completion and travels to various industry sites to perform lab pack services.
• Prepares for daily trips by inspecting vehicle and equipment, fueling, and ensuring all is in order.
• Drives to customer sites to collect waste material and transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
• Completes necessary paperwork for shipment of hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
• Follows placarding and load-segregation requirements and maintains DOT compliance logs.
• Acts as a Company Representative with customers and contacts.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Technical Services Driver As a Technical Services Driver you will be responsible for driving and operating semi-vans, roll-off trailers, and dump trailers as required.

$7000 Sign On Bonus

Pay starts at $25 per hour depending on experience.

The days can vary slightly for this position; no overnights are expected.

Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and consistently maintaining safe practices

• Loads supplies needed for job completion and travels to various industry, laboratory, and school sites to perform lab pack services
• Prepares for daily trip by inspecting vehicle and equipment, fueling truck, and ensuring all equipment is in excellent order
• Drives to customer sites to collect waste material and/or transport hazardous and non-hazardous material
• Completes necessary paperwork for shipment of hazardous and non-hazardous materials
• Follows proper placarding and load segregation requirements when transporting hazardous materials
• Maintains a logbook for Department of Transportation (DOT) compliance.
• Assists customers in troubleshooting and correcting record keeping inconsistencies and service concerns
• Acts as a Company Representative with all customers and contacts
• Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization
