The Technical Services Coordinator serves as a critical link between customers, technical support personnel and security operations to ensure reliable system performance and timely response to security-related events.
Within UT MD Anderson, the Technical Services Coordinator receives and processes electronic security system requests, coordinates service dispatches, monitors alarms and system outages and maintains accurate security records. The Technical Services Coordinator plays an essential role in safeguarding patients visitors faculty staff students and institutional assets. The Technical Services Coordinator contributes to the effective operation of security technology systems that support the institution’s mission.
The ideal candidate has experience working with electronic security technology in a dispatch, command center or security operations environment. Preferred candidates have experience reviewing alarm activity, analyzing security-related video information, assessing incidents and determining appropriate escalation actions. Experience supporting access control systems security reporting, technical troubleshooting and electronic security operations is highly desirable.
