Azelis Americas is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented CASE (Coatings, Adhesives, Sealants, and Elastomers) Technical Sales Representative to join our team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage time effectively to assure that all potential customers and all buying accounts are called on with appropriate efficiency.
  • Achieve a high level of sales efficiencies by continually identifying and exploiting profitable sales opportunities.
  • Optimize sales results by identifying, prioritizing, and selling products that yield the most profitability to the company and by disengaging from sales and services which do not fit the company's focus or profitability objectives.
  • Achieve and maintain a high level of responsiveness and follow-up to customer needs.
  • Develop and maintain a high level of product knowledge by reading and studying product data sheets.
  • Act as a problem solver for customers to increase value to the customer.
  • Establish and sustain relationships with personnel at each key account to ensure continuity.
  • Provide written reports on sales calls, emphasizing significant information related to new or lost business, pricing changes, usage rates, and competitive strategies.
  • Work with the Vice President of Sales to develop goals and short-term targets to increase sales volume and implement strategies profitably.
  • Identify and focus on target accounts for suppliers when applicable.
  • *Schedule and conduct joint sales calls with supplier personnel on key customers to introduce new products and discuss existing products, aiming to increase sales.
  • Monitor sales leads from various sources for new sales potential.
  • Recommend pricing levels at accounts, maintain pricing logs, and handle non-standard pricing proposals for management approval.
  • Manage administrative functions to comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Support company goals to improve customer satisfaction, reduce rework, and enhance profitability.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships within the company.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in chemistry) from an accredited four-year college/university.
  • At least 5 years of field sales experience.
  • Experience in Thermoplastics, Composites, or Rubber industries is highly preferred; CASE experience is a plus.
  • Proven ability to work as part of a team.
  • High ethical standards and business integrity.
