Join Us as Our New Technical Service Manager - Biofuels

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced leader to join Novonesis as a Technical Service Manager (TSM) for the North American Biofuels industry. In this role, you will lead a high-performing technical team, drive strategic initiatives, and deliver impactful solutions that strengthen our position as a trusted advisor to Biofuels customers across the region.

Responsibilities
  • Leading and coaching a team of technical professionals to foster a customer-centric, results-driven culture.
  • Ensuring high-quality technical communication through formal reporting, presentations, and digital tools.
  • Managing the delivery of technical solutions that exceed customer expectations and deliver measurable ROI.
  • Driving industry strategy in partnership with Global Marketing, Sales, and regional stakeholders.
  • Overseeing resource allocation to support account plans, product launches, and strategic initiatives.
  • Building and maintaining strong customer relationships to reinforce Novonesis' role as a trusted advisor.
  • Leading safety initiatives and promoting a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Supporting the development and launch of new products, tools, and services.
  • Managing laboratory operations and contributing to regional and global planning efforts.
Qualifications
  • A B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience, ideally in biofuels, grain milling, or agricultural industries.
  • Proven success in leading projects or teams; prior experience managing technical teams or mentoring direct reports is strongly preferred.
  • Strong technical acumen and the ability to translate science into business impact.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 50%.
  • Experience managing budgets and investments is a plus.
