Daikin Comfort Technologies Dist, Inc. is seeking a professional, skilled individual for our Technical Service Manager position within our branch operations group, located remotely but near the Wood Dale branch. The Regional Technical Service Manager supports internal and external customers who install, repair, and maintain heating and air-conditioning systems, including conducting training. This role involves working directly with service technicians, dispatch personnel, and under the direction of Upper Management to ensure customer satisfaction while meeting departmental goals.

Position Responsibilities include:
- Providing support for dealers/contractors to resolve technical issues.
- Implementing early warning systems, proactive field intelligence, and technical support.
- Gathering customer feedback, monitoring for quality issues through site visits, and addressing complaints.
- Validating product installations and assessing compliance with I/O and building codes.
- Supporting field communication, RMA processes, and service bulletins, including review and feedback.
- Conducting installation and technical support training, especially for high-failure dealers.
- Producing training materials and conducting sessions.
- Ensuring high-quality, cost-efficient, and timely service operations.
- Maintaining effective communication with customers.
- Supporting additional projects as needed.

Knowledge & Skills:
- Effective training and education skills for HVAC products.
- Strong HVAC technical knowledge, including mechanical and electrical systems.

Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years in field service and repair.
Education/Certification:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- HVAC training/certification required.
Physical Requirements / Work Environment:
- Ability to perform essential responsibilities with or without accommodations.
- Travel required up to 30%.
