As we expand our digital footprint to drive client acquisition, we are seeking a technically proficient SEO expert with demonstrated experience in Programmatic SEO to join our team.

Before you apply please note this is a part-time contract role Monday-Friday 20-30 hours per week.

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Technical SEO Manager with a strong background in implementing Programmatic SEO (PSEO) strategies. You will be responsible for ensuring our website's technical health, optimizing it for maximum search visibility, and playing a key role in the technical execution of our PSEO initiatives aimed at generating qualified client leads. This role demands deep technical SEO expertise combined with the practical ability to implement and troubleshoot PSEO projects.

Key Responsibilities

1. PSEO Implementation: Lead the technical implementation of PSEO projects, managing datasets, configuring CMS or PSEO tools, collaborating with developers on page generation logic, defining URL structures, and ensuring seamless integration with the existing site.
2. PSEO Technical Oversight: Ensure programmatically generated pages follow SEO best practices, are crawlable, indexable, and performant. Troubleshoot related technical issues.
3. Data Management for PSEO: Structure, clean, and manage datasets (job roles, skills, locations, etc.) for PSEO page generation, possibly using scripting or database tools.
4. Performance Monitoring & Analysis: Monitor site health and PSEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs/SEMrush, etc. Report on key metrics.
5. Collaboration: Work with content creators, PSEO strategists, and developers to ensure SEO best practices are incorporated into web projects and campaigns.
6. Algorithm Updates & Best Practices: Stay updated on search engine algorithm changes and adapt strategies accordingly.
7. Schema Markup Strategy: Develop and implement schema markup strategies relevant to staffing and PSEO pages, including JobPosting, Service, Organization, etc.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven track record (3-5+ years) in Technical SEO managing complex websites.
• At least 3 years hands-on experience with Programmatic SEO projects (examples or case studies required).
• Expertise in crawlability, indexability, site architecture, XML sitemaps, robots.txt, canonicalization, pagination, status codes, page speed (Core Web Vitals), structured data/schema markup.
• Proficiency with SEO tools: Google Analytics, Search Console, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs/SEMrush/Moz.
• Experience with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Webflow, Headless CMS).
• Familiarity with data manipulation tools like Excel/Google Sheets; basic scripting (Python, JS) or SQL knowledge is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to diagnose complex SEO issues.
• Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in staffing, recruiting, or HR tech industries.
• Experience with B2B lead generation SEO.
• Hands-on experience with PSEO platforms like Whalesync, Seomatic, or custom buildouts.
• Log file analysis experience.
• Advanced schema.org knowledge.
