This role combines deep technical expertise, commercial judgment, and cross‑functional leadership to drive design‑ins, product lifecycle decisions, go‑to‑market execution, financial performance, and customer success.

The role operates with a high degree of autonomy, leads complex initiatives across functions and regions, and shapes mid‑term segment strategy. The position serves as a trusted technical and business leader while remaining directly accountable for execution and measurable business outcomes.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Lead technical design‑in activities by guiding market analysis, identifying priority targets, and partnering with Sales on account strategy, customer influence, outbound marketing content, technical collateral, and commercial agreements.
  • Own the full product lifecycle for assigned products or technology areas, including product positioning, pricing recommendations, sales structure, licensing, forecasting, launch, sustainment, product changes, end‑of‑production, and last‑time‑buy strategy.
  • Lead technical marketing and go‑to‑market execution, including competitive analysis, sales tools, technical marketing collateral, launch readiness, and messaging aligned with product positioning and differentiation.
  • Manage segment financial planning in partnership with Finance, Operations, Product Line Management, Engineering, and Applications, including revenue, margin, R&D, applications investment, inventory assumptions, and long‑term forecasts supporting LTB, E&O, and EOL decisions.
  • Identify, develop, and sustain strategic customer relationships in partnership with Sales, with emphasis on emerging and high‑growth opportunities across the United States, Europe, and Asia.
  • Lead mid‑term market segment strategy over a five‑year horizon, identifying key market trends, competitive dynamics, investment requirements, and growth priorities that support long‑term profitable growth.
  • Develop annual segment plans with revenue, contribution margin, market‑share, design‑in, and investment objectives, and monitor execution against the plan.
  • Provide technical expertise and consultative support to Sales on product selection, solution positioning, value proposition, and equitable and competitive pricing.
  • Lead customer product presentations and roadmap discussions that clearly communicate solution capabilities, differentiation, business value, and fit with customer requirements.
  • Influence cross‑functional priorities and decisions across Engineering, Applications, Sales, Operations, Finance, and Marketing to resolve complex issues and deliver committed business outcomes.
  • Provide technical leadership, coaching, and strategic context to less‑senior Product Managers and cross‑functional partners without direct people‑management responsibility.
