Job summary

SMX is hiring a technical and security architect to design an enterprise-grade LCNC architecture for Army financial integration, ensuring DoD cybersecurity and audit requirements. You will establish the baseline for seamless interoperability with GFEBS legacy systems and external partners, and govern data ingestion, workflows, and API boundaries.

The role focuses on controlled environments, secure access, and auditable processes, aligning with DoD constraints and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. Secret Clearance (or higher) required.
• 5+ years in enterprise application or systems integration.
• Ability to translate business requirements into implementable technical solutions while modernizing legacy apps.

Responsibilities

• Establish controlled integration environments, source connectivity, and export pathways for SAP and external reporting destinations.
• Define and validate authentication, authorization, RBAC, and comprehensive audit logging across all workflows.
• Ensure sensitive financial transactions and write-back functions are controlled, auditable, and adhere to least privilege.

SMX is hiring a technical and security architect to design the enterprise-grade, multi-layer LCNC architecture for Army financial integration. You will establish the technical baseline that allows the LCNC platform to interoperate seamlessly with GFEBS legacy systems and external trading partners. You will ensure that all data ingestion, application workflows, and API boundaries meet stringent DoD cybersecurity and audit requirements.

• Establish controlled integration environments, source connectivity, and export pathways for SAP and external reporting destinations.

• Define and validate authentication, authorization, role-based access, and comprehensive audit logging requirements across all workflows.

• Ensure sensitive financial transactions and write-back functions are technically controlled, auditable, and adhere to the principle of least privilege

Required Skills & Experience

• Active U.S. Secret Clearance (or higher).

• 5+ years of enterprise application or systems integration experience.

• Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into implementable technical solutions while modernizing legacy applications

• Expertise in designing cloud database architectures & API gateways

The proposed salary for this position is:

$112,600—$187,600 USD
