The Technical Sales Representative (TSR) will play a key role in driving customer acquisition, retention, and satisfaction. The position involves signing up new customers for LPG gas services, onboarding them through proper vetting and training on smart meter usage, and providing exceptional customer support. The TSR will also be responsible for resolving customer complaints and ensuring safe handling of company resources and products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for signing up/enrolling new customers to use LPG gas and other accessories offered by the company in their houses, preferably in the kitchen area.
- Verify customer identification by checking original documents and calling back on the telephone line to confirm the phone number.
- Satisfactorily take the customer through the contract ahead of installation.
- Request the customer to rearrange the house in readiness for the cooking solution, taking ventilation into consideration.
- Ensure the customer/user is present at the time of installation.
- Perform the tasks of signing up customers, installation, battery change, and cylinder change, as well as any other tasks assigned by the team leader.
- Provide honest feedback to operations on any consumer complaints.
- Safeguard the support resources provided by the company to ensure smooth operations in the field (Phones, PPEs, and Merchandise).
- Effectively communicate with customers to enhance their experience.
- Manage the delivery process as stipulated by the organization and utilize the required technology.
- Guide logistics on locations for new customers to optimize route adherence.
- Manage customer service by correctly communicating messages intended for customers.
- Resolve customer delivery concerns and escalate all matters to the responsible persons.
- Provide vital information to the organization regarding competitor activities.
- Maintain all customer accounts in each area.
- Take care of the LPG gas cylinders and the accessories on the vehicle (TUKs, Motor Bikes, Canters, etc.).
- Ensure timely replenishment of used LPG.
- Deliver orders efficiently and on time, categorizing them into cylinders that are near depletion or new placements.
- Provide feedback from the customer on any issues arising in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in any sales or related field.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in sales, customer acquisition & support.
