Job description

The Technical Sales Representative (TSR) will play a key role in driving customer acquisition, retention, and satisfaction. The position involves signing up new customers for LPG gas services, onboarding them through proper vetting and training on smart meter usage, and providing exceptional customer support. The TSR will also be responsible for resolving customer complaints, and ensuring safe handling of company resources and products.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for signing up/enrolling new customers to use LPG gas and other accessories offered by the company in their houses, preferably in the kitchen area.
  2. Verify customer identification by checking original documents. Call back on the telephone line to confirm the phone number.
  3. Execute any other duties as may be assigned by Management from time to time.
  4. Satisfactorily take the customer through the contract ahead of installation.
  5. Request the customer to re-arrange the house in readiness for the cooking solution taking ventilation into consideration.
  6. Ensure the customer/user is present at the time of installation.
  7. Perform the task of signing up customer, installation, battery change and cylinder change as well as any other task as may be assigned by the team leader from time to time.
  8. Responsible for giving honest feedback to operations on any consumer complaints.
  9. Responsible for the safe keeping of the support resources provided by the company to ensure smooth operations in the field (Phones, PPEs and Merchandise).
  10. Responsible for effectively communicating to the customers on any information that will make the experience of the customer good.
  11. Responsible for managing the delivery process as stipulated by the organization and use of the required technology.
  12. Responsible for managing the route adherence to support operations optimization by guiding the logistics on the locations for the new customers.
  13. In charge of the volume per sales area.
  14. In charge of the customer service by communicating correctly any messages intended to our customers.
  15. Resolving customers delivery concerns and escalating all matters to the responsible persons.
  16. Plays a role in giving vital information to the organization around the competitors activities.
  17. Manages and maintains all the customers’ accounts in each area.
  18. Responsible for taking care of the LPG gas Cylinders and the accessories on the vehicle (TUKs, Motor Bikes, Canters, etc.).
  19. Responsible for Replenishment of used LPG on time.
  20. Responsible for efficient and timely delivery of the orders to the intended customers. Orders are categorized into Cylinders that are near depletion or new placements.
  21. Providing feedback from the customer on any issues arising on time.
Requirements
  1. Diploma/Degree in any sales or any related field.
  2. Minimum of 1 year experience in sales, customer acquisition & support.
