Job summary

VEGA Americas, Inc. is seeking a Technical Sales Representative to expand market share in the Greater Corpus Christi, TX area. You will be a trusted advisor, building lasting customer relationships and delivering our measurement solutions.

Responsibilities include prospecting in defined territory, developing forecasts, and collaborating with VEGA sales and engineering staff to win key accounts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or related.
• 1+ year of experience in industrial automation or instrumentation.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted.

• Develop annual forecast for territory and execute sales plan to meet or exceed goals.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Prospect for new business in defined territory through networking, scheduling appointments, conducting lunch and learns and other sales generating activities.
• Develop annual forecast for assigned territory and execute sales plan to effectively meet or exceed goals for market share growth, topline revenue, and new customers.
• Act as a Trusted Advisor for new and existing VEGA clients to ensure they receive platinum service.
• Develop close working relationships with key customer personnel and VEGA sales and technical personnel to ensure a team-selling approach and enhanced sales position.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or related;
• AND 1+ year(s) of experience in industrial automation or instrumentation
• OR equivalent combination of education and experience
