Azelis Americas is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented AMA (Advanced Materials & Additives) Technical Sales Representative to join our team in South Texas.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage time effectively to ensure all potential customers and buying accounts are contacted efficiently.
  • Achieve high sales efficiencies by identifying and exploiting profitable sales opportunities.
  • Optimize sales results by focusing on products that maximize profitability and disengaging from less profitable offerings.
  • Respond promptly and follow up diligently to customer needs.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive product knowledge through studying data sheets.
  • Become a problem solver for customers by gaining expertise, thereby increasing customer value.
  • Build and maintain relationships with personnel at key accounts to ensure continuity.
  • Provide written reports on sales calls, highlighting significant information related to new or lost business, pricing, usage, and competitive strategies.
  • Collaborate with the Vice President of Sales to set goals and develop strategies for increasing sales volume profitably.
  • Identify and focus on target accounts for suppliers when applicable.
  • Schedule joint sales calls with supplier personnel to introduce new products and discuss existing ones to boost sales.
  • Monitor sales leads from various sources and pursue new sales opportunities.
  • Recommend pricing levels, maintain pricing logs, and manage non-standard pricing proposals for management approval.
  • Handle administrative responsibilities in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Support initiatives to improve customer satisfaction, reduce rework, and enhance profitability.
  • Foster effective relationships within the company to support team and organizational goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or related field from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 5 years of field sales experience.
  • Industry experience in Thermoplastics, Composites, or Rubber is highly preferred; CASE experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Strong ethical standards and business integrity.
