Our client is a well-established water purification company providing services to North Carolina. They have deep roots in the industry with experience in all types of commercial water systems, providing systems and service for pure water needs of laboratories, commercial enterprises and manufacturing plants. They’re in immediate need of a Sales Representative, to play a critical role in generating new business opportunities through installations paired with annual service plans. This person will be the primary point of contact acting as the liaison between the company and clients, delivering a seamless and outstanding experience from initial agreement through the ongoing relationship.
The ideal candidate is passionate, creative, and technically knowledgeable, demonstrating a strong commitment to fulfilling customer needs while representing our clients diverse product portfolio. This includes service deionization, reverse osmosis, point-of-use polishing, filtration, piping, and other water purification solutions.
Responsibilities:
· Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally, resolving issues efficiently.
· Own customer interactions to enhance the overall experience.
· Maintain a low error rate in quotes and orders, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
· Service quotations must adhere to management-provided templates detailing each line item and service period.
· New installations must include a high level of detail for exceptional clarity.
· Manage order-related requests, shipments, and other customer-related matters.
· Collaborate with peers, supervisors, and managers to ensure seamless communication and support.
· Exhibit sound judgment, initiative, and strong decision-making skills.
· Take pride in ownership, execution, and accomplishment of tasks.
· Serve as a role model in professional conduct.
· Accurately identify replacement products as needed.
· Maintain a positive and friendly approach in all customer interactions.
· Contribute to business growth, measured through win and revenue rates on a quarterly and annual basis.
· Act with a sense of urgency in addressing customer needs.
· Organize and prepare the service team for site visits, ensuring all necessary supplies are available for successful installations and maintenance.
· Maintain clear communication with the service and regeneration teams for a seamless customer experience.
· Recommend improvements to existing applications or design new solutions to meet business needs.
· Develop and deliver reports on project status, timelines, and potential challenges.
· Collaborate with clients to clarify requirements and ensure satisfaction with results.
· Design and develop new applications based on customer preferences and needs.
· Provide technical support and troubleshoot existing application issues.
· Perform quality assurance testing where applicable to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Customer Service Responsibilities
· Manage inbound calls and email correspondence in a timely and professional manner.
· Demonstrate a passion and commitment to customer and company success.
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records.
· Review schedules and coordinate effectively with the service team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
· Extensive technical knowledge in water purification solutions.
· Proven ability to manage multiple customer accounts.
· Experience in the water purification industry is a must.
· Independent, self-sufficient, and collaborative team player.
· Ability to manage calls professionally and provide accurate information.
· Excellent project management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
· Proficiency in computer applications, including client’s quotation and customer database (preferred).
· Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Compensation is commensurate of experience.
